Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense Management Process Owner

Responsibilities

 

  • Translates strategic directions into operational day-to-day processes
  • Align with stakeholders and other process owners regarding:
  • Use of processes
  • User feedback
  • Process suitability
  • Resources for process improvement work
  • Align with other process owners in and outside of Finance, to ensure coherence in our processes
  •  
  • Develops and implements process improvement initiatives
  • Actively gathers and applies external best practices and understands the impact of external requirements on the process
  • Develops and leads a formal process to identify high-impact, improvement initiatives, collect best practices and ideas, prioritize the initiatives
  • Validates the applicability of initiatives across functions, and depending on the size of the change, develops a rollout plan in close co-operation with our project team
  • Ensures appropriate stakeholders are part of the deployment of processes
  • Contributes with directions for projects developing new processes or improving existing ones
  • Signs off on project deliverables such as e.g. operational process documentation
  • Ensures proper ownership of processes handed over from project mode to day-to-day operation
  • Stays up to date with the latest trends in process improvements and best practice
  • Monitors process performance across the organization
  • Identifies and evaluates the organizations risk areas to identify opportunities for further improvements
  • Develops and oversees the implementation of improvement initiatives
  • Support establishing, deploying and monitoring a set of strategic KPIs
  • Reviews process performance and intervenes accordingly
  • Ensures valid and sustainable processes at all times
  • Identifies performance gaps and launches corrective initiatives accordingly
  • Resolves conflicts on any process issues that involve cost/quality or other trade offs

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree within e.g. Finance or Accounting
  • Strong and extensive experience in accounting/finance within: Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense Management
  • Capability of solving complex issues and developing standards for performance based on best practice
  • Have extended experience working with Shared Services
  • Possess experience working in an international group
  • Experience with change management
  • People management and leadership skills
  • Strategic focus and cross-organizational insights
  • Cultural understanding, networking, and efficient communication skills
  • Excellent level of English orally and in writing
